Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will play a crucial role in guest relations, ensuring that all visitors feel valued and attended to from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow. Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, providing information about menu items and specials. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests. Requirements Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating a commitment to providing outstanding service. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly desirable.
