Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist guests with seating arrangements and answer questions about menu offerings and restaurant policies Operate POS systems to process payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision Maintain organized front desk operations, including guest check-ins, reservations, and waitlist management Communicate effectively via phone to answer inquiries, take reservations, and provide information about services Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness of the front area in compliance with health regulations Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, clear communication, and hospitality excellence Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic during busy shifts Organizational skills to manage multiple tables and reservations efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment Hospitality experience that demonstrates guest relations expertise is a plus Join us at Flavors of Evansville where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining experiences!
