In this energetic role, you will oversee the front-of-house operations, ensuring guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. As a leader among hosts and hostesses, you will motivate and guide your team to create a lively, friendly atmosphere that keeps guests excited to return. Your passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills will help elevate the guest experience and maintain smooth seating flow. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the host/hostess team to deliver outstanding guest service with enthusiasm and professionalism Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat guests efficiently to optimize table turnover Oversee reservation management using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements Maintain a lively, organized front desk area, ensuring phone etiquette is friendly and professional at all times Collaborate with restaurant staff to communicate guest needs, special requests, and seating priorities effectively Monitor guest relations, address concerns promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return Support team members in training new hosts/hostesses, fostering a positive and energetic work environment Skills Proven experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings with strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and clearly Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and billing Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and handle guest concerns professionally This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in lively environments.
