Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements. Maintain waitlists and communicate estimated wait times clearly to guests, keeping them engaged and informed. Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests. Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills. Assist with guest needs during their visit, including providing menus, answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies, and addressing concerns promptly. Support the team by maintaining cleanliness in the host station area and ensuring all guest areas are welcoming and organized. Skills Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings, with strong customer service skills. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and guest information. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in guest services. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest relations best practices. Strong phone etiquette skills to manage inquiries professionally over the phone.
