Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hostess/Expo, where your energy and organizational skills will shine! In this dynamic role, you'll be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. You'll manage reservations, coordinate seating, and facilitate smooth communication between front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for every guest while supporting our team's efficiency and hospitality standards. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service. Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. Assist servers and kitchen staff by relaying guest orders and special requests accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area to ensure a welcoming environment. Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred. Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities. Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and POS transactions. Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices. Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
