Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your exceptional guest relations skills and ability to communicate effectively will be key in managing reservations and seating arrangements while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring smooth seating flow. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist with guest inquiries, offering recommendations and addressing any concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Experience Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in hospitality or food service environments. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a restaurant or hotel setting is highly desirable.
