Our ideal candidate is committed to providing Guests with an excellent service experience, able to demonstrate responsibility, reliability, pride in their work, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude. Enjoy a daytime schedule; our hours of business are from 6:30 am -2:30 pm. Great for part-time! Great for a second job! Weekends and holidays are required (that's when we are the busiest!)
What You'll Be Doing:
Greet guests promptly with a warm, friendly attitude Manage the waitlist, quote accurate wait times, and communicate seating flow to servers and managers Escort guests to tables and ensure menus, silverware, and seating areas are clean and ready Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entryway, and lobby areas Answer phones, take to‑go orders accurately, and assist with curbside pickup when needed Communicate table availability and rotation to support fair and efficient seating Assist with bussing and resetting tables during peak times Provide helpful, positive interactions with guests throughout their visit Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Support the front‑of‑house team with any additional tasks needed to keep service running smoothly Physical & Lifting Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift (typically 4-8 hours) Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (menus, highchairs, booster seats, cleaning supplies) Frequent bending, reaching, and moving through a busy dining room Ability to navigate tight spaces while escorting guests Work Environment High‑volume breakfast and lunch service Frequent exposure to cleaning supplies, hot plates, and busy guest areas Requires teamwork, communication, and a positive, service‑oriented mindset.
