As a Host / Hostess , you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting them with a warm and friendly demeanor. You will manage reservations, seat guests, and oversee the flow of the dining room, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all.

Responsibilities:

Greet all guests promptly with a welcoming and professional attitude Manage reservations using the restaurant's booking system (OpenTable, Resy, or equivalent) Accurately quote wait times and manage guest expectations during busy periods Coordinate seating to balance server sections and optimize table turns Communicate effectively with managers, servers, and kitchen staff regarding guest flow and special requests Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable host stand and entry area Assist with guest inquiries, special accommodations, and overall guest experience Handle phone calls, reservations, and guest questions with professionalism and efficiency Monitor dining room pacing and adjust seating accordingly Support the team with additional front-of-house duties as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for guest service Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Professional appearance and demeanor Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Familiarity with reservation systems is a plus At our many restaurants, we take pride in curating an exceptional dining experience that celebrates the rich flavors of Louisiana's culinary heritage.
