The Cocktail Hour operates an evolving cocktail program built around five distinct seasonal menus throughout the year, with rotating guest bartenders every week. The Host helps create a seamless experience for both regular guests and visiting industry professionals while maintaining the elevated standards of the venue. Responsibilities Welcome every guest with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Manage guest arrivals, seating, reservations, and waitlists with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain an organized and up-to-date understanding of reservations, seating availability, and service flow. Coordinate closely with bartenders, servers, managers, and other members of the hospitality team. Communicate wait times and seating expectations clearly and professionally. Escort guests to their tables or designated seating areas and provide a polished introduction to the experience. Maintain current knowledge of the five seasonal cocktail menus and weekly programming. Stay informed about the rotating guest bartender featured each week and communicate relevant information to guests. Welcome and assist visiting guest bartenders and industry professionals, helping ensure they have a smooth and professional experience from arrival through service. Assist with guest-bartender nights by coordinating reservations, guest flow, special requests, and communication with the management and bar teams. Assist guests with questions about the cocktail program, seasonal menu, weekly guest bartender, and overall experience. Maintain the entrance, host stand, and guest-facing areas so they remain clean, organized, and presentation-ready. Manage guest flow during high-volume periods while maintaining a calm and welcoming presence. Communicate special occasions, guest preferences, accessibility needs, and other relevant information to the service team. Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. Assist with coordinating special events, guest bartender appearances, and other venue programming. Maintain professional communication with rotating guest bartenders and visiting industry professionals. Assist with opening and closing duties related to the host stand and front-of-house areas. Maintain the highest standards of appearance, cleanliness, organization, and hospitality throughout every shift.
