Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, demonstrating genuine hospitality and enthusiasm Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating assignments Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to promote a welcoming environment Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate guest seating and special requests Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, utilizing proper phone etiquette Assist guests with seating arrangements during busy periods to minimize wait times and enhance their experience Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, striving to exceed expectations Experience Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred Strong food service background with knowledge of restaurant operations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience working in hotel or guest services environments is a plus Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with diverse guests and team members Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor in high-pressure situations

Pay:

$8.00 - $12.00 per hour
