Job Description

Host(ess) Woods Hole Golf Club is seeking friendly, organized, and service-oriented individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Hosts/Hostesses. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people and takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming first impression. Whether you're experienced in hospitality or new to the industry, we offer a supportive, team driven environment where you can learn, grow, and be part of a professional private club with a strong sense of community.

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available Schedule:
Day & evening shifts available; weekend availability required
Pay:
Starting at $18.00 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome members and guests with a friendly, professional demeanor Manage seating and assign tables efficiently to support smooth service flow Learn and recognize members' names and preferences Answer phones, manage reservations, and assist with takeout orders Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand, entrance, and waiting areas Direct guests to dining areas, events, and private functions Communicate closely with management and service staff to coordinate seating Complete opening and closing checklists Go above and beyond to accommodate special requests and enhance the member experience
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Friendly, polished, and team-oriented attitude Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Seasonal and local candidates encouraged to apply U.S. work authorization
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to stand and move throughout the clubhouse for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a lively, fast-paced environment
