Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in our restaurant. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Utilize POS systems for managing waitlists and processing orders when necessary. Uphold high standards of guest services, fostering positive guest relations throughout their dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience in restaurant or food service is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests effectively.
