Weekend Host / Cashier / FOH (Front of House) Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host / Cashier / FOH (Front of House) Support to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth restaurant operations. In this versatile role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, managing reservations, greeting visitors, and providing exceptional guest services. You will also handle cashier duties, process transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, and support the overall flow of the front-of-house area. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help deliver memorable dining experiences and maintain efficient restaurant operations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat guests efficiently using restaurant management. Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about wait times, and menu items while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Handle cashier duties and process payments accurately and efficiently. Take, process, and pack to-go orders accurately and efficiently. Assist with food running, clearing and resetting tables, and other FOH support as needed. Keep the dining room, counter, and front-of-house areas clean, organized, and presentable. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest experience. Assist with other tasks as needed to support the restaurant's daily operations. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Weekend availability is required. Previous experience as a host, cashier, or in a restaurant setting is required; strong customer service skills are essential. Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS systems Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing registers at shift end. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a food service environment. Ability to handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette at all times.
