What you'll do Greet guests with enthusiasm and ensure they receive a warm welcome upon arrival. Manage reservations efficiently, utilizing our Point of Sale (POS) system (Toast) Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and maintain a pleasant atmosphere. Assist with takeout orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service for all customers. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure seamless communication regarding guest needs. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries. Basic qualifications Previous host/host experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Preferred qualifications Experience in food service or restaurant operations is advantageous. Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus. Background in customer services can enhance your candidacy.
