Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess Cashier to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing the front-of-house operations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their seats promptly Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process guest payments accurately and swiftly at the cashier station, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to ensure a professional appearance Assist with guest inquiries over the phone using excellent phone etiquette and provide accurate information about services and wait times Support restaurant staff by coordinating seating arrangements and communicating guest needs effectively Uphold hospitality standards by delivering friendly, attentive service that enhances overall guest relations Skills Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests, team members, and management Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of hospitality principles, including guest services, serving, and hotel experience is a plus Professional phone etiquette and clear communication to assist guests over the phone effectively Join our dynamic team where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create unforgettable experiences for every guest.
