Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. In this role, you will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Duties Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests with accuracy and efficiency Coordinate table assignments to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general inquiries Maintain organized waiting lists, monitor guest flow, and communicate wait times clearly to guests Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand area in compliance with food safety standards Support guest relations by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone conversations effectively Knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waiting lists, and guest seating efficiently Basic math skills for handling reservations, guest counts, and time management Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and hospitality standards Familiarity with food safety practices and restaurant operations is advantageous Join our team as a Host/Hostess where your welcoming personality will help create unforgettable dining experiences!
