Position Purpose:
Serve as the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors by providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosp at the Club. The Front Desk Receptionist supports daily Club operations by assisting with member inquiries, coordinating reservations, managing communications, providing information on Club programs and events, and performing administrative duties to ensure efficient and professional service. This position plays a key role in enhancing the overall member and guest experience while upholding the Club's standards of hospitality and professionalism.

This position is currently structured as a part-time role. However, for the right candidate, t may be an opportunity for the position to transition to a full-time role based on business needs and performance.

Standard Requirements1.Ads to Club policy and procedures2.Acts as a role model within and outside the Club3.Maintains a positive and respectful attitude4.Communicates regularly with supervisor about department issues5.Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload6.Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position7.Maintains confidentiality of all data8.Meets department productivity standards9.Available to work the following schedule:
  • Tuesday
  • Friday from 3:00 PM
  • 9:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM
  • 3:00 PMEssential Duties and Responsibilities1.
Greet members and guests with a pleasant smile and warm welcome.2.Operate the switchboard, including managing incoming, outgoing, and operator-assisted calls; take and relay messages to staff and members as needed.3.Create digital signs for meetings, events, and other Club activities.4.Assist with recording member reservations for regular dining when the Host Stand is unavailable.5.Coordinate with the Events Team to assist members with reservations for Club events and special functions, ensuring they receive all pertinent reservation information and updates.6.Handle member inquiries, requests, and concerns at the reception desk in a professional and courteous manner.7.Maintain and organize all lost and found items.8.Sort and distribute incoming mail.9.Perform general office duties, including word processing, copying, scanning, and operating office equipment.10.Stay informed on Club events, programs, and activities by reviewing the monthly Woodmonter to effectively answer member questions.11.Provide schedules and other Club information to members, guests, and staff.12.Assist with special projects and additional duties assigned.13.Prepare and distribute the Daily Activities Report ("Dailies") to all employees via email each day.

Qualifications Education and Work Experience Qualifications 1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 2. Proficiency in Canva. 3. Position requires professional appearance and telephone manner, high level of interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy. 4. Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
