Job Description

Director of Operations

Looking for a Director of Operations to create structure, efficiency, and accountability to day-to-day business and operations procedures. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on turning chaos into process, likes solving practical problems, and can move comfortably between big-picture strategy and getting into the weeds when needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement systems, processes, and SOPs to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Create and implement client and contractor contracting processes, including documentation, signatures, renewals, and record keeping.
  • Track KPIs and report on operational performance to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, licensing, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives
  • Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in operations management, ideally within a small or mid-sized business
  • Proven track record of improving processes and managing teams
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools (e.g., project management software, CRM systems)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment
  • Comfortable being both strategic and tactical
  • Strong problem-solver who takes ownership
