Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage seating and coordinate reservations to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing guest relations. Complete given side-work every shift Enter orders into the POS system and process payments Qualifications Previous experience as a host or in a similar customer service role preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast or similar platforms, is a plus. A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Must have a drivers license

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
