Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests efficiently using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries clearly and promptly Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times accurately to guests Support food service staff by ensuring tables are prepared for new guests and assisting with guest relations as needed Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host station area at all times Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred, demonstrating strong guest service skills Experience with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Background in food service or hospitality enhances your ability to understand guest needs and deliver exceptional service Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and organizational abilities, are essential for success in this role Basic math skills are necessary for managing waitlists, seating capacities, and reservation times Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant table management software will help streamline operations A commitment to food safety, guest relations, and hospitality standards is vital for providing a positive dining experience Join us as a Restaurant Host/Hostess and become a key part of creating memorable moments for our guests.
