the typical business hours are M-Th 9am-5pm and
F-Su:
9am-6pm. It is 100% expected to be able to work on weekends and some weekday hours. The Team Associate is the face of our indoor playground, responsible for the daily execution of our operational standards with a heavy emphasis on delivering an exceptional party experience. This role focuses on enthusiastic customer service, strict facility sanitation, and efficient event management.
Important Scheduling Note:
Because our premier private parties and events are a core component of this role, priority will be given to candidates with strong weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays).
Compensation & Perks Starting Base Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 / hour
Total Earning Potential:
Up to $25.00+ / hour including cash and credit card tips earned while hosting parties!

Key Responsibilities Party Excellence & Event Management Premier Hosting:
Serve as the lead party host by proactively assisting guests with room setup, custom decorations, and mid-party needs while maintaining a high-energy, helpful presence.
Independent Execution:
Confidently manage private parties (which may be run by a single staff member for closed-door events under 40 children, or paired with a co-worker for larger groups over 40) to ensure strict safety and service standards.
Tight Time Management:
Execute comprehensive room transitions (cleanup and reset) efficiently to ensure every party starts exactly on time and the space is pristine for the next group. Facility Maintenance & Cleanliness "Tour-Ready"
Standards:
Follow strict opening and closing cleaning checklists. Regularly use designated facility supplies (including specialized sanitizing concentrates and microfiber cloths) to deep-clean and sanitize high-touch areas, play structures, and tables.
Routine Safety Walkthroughs:
Conduct active facility walkthroughs to ensure rules are followed and minor cleanups (spills, table wipes) are handled immediately. (Required every 30 minutes on weekdays; every 20 minutes during busy weekend hours).
Visual Appeal:
Regularly inspect all marketing materials and seasonal/holiday decor throughout the facility to ensure they are securely attached, properly positioned, and highly professional.
Marketing, Business Development & Front Desk Inbound Service & Point of Sale:
Welcome guests, answer phones, assist with booking inquiries, and process payments for admissions, retail purchases, and memberships using our point-of-sale system.
Membership Sales:
Verbally share details about upcoming promotions and educate families on our specific packages, helping them understand the value of our annual programs versus standard visit cards.
Content Creation:
Help capture high-quality photo and video content during events and open play. Assist in developing a variety of daily marketing materials and social media promotions (Instagram posts, event flyers, etc.).
Compliance & Administration Policy Enforcement:
Clearly communicate and enforce playground safety rules and age limits to all guests to ensure a safe, compliant environment.
Inventory Tracking:
Keep snacks, drinks, and seating areas in order. Monitor concession inventory (including specialized ice cream and partnered local pizza deliveries) and proactively inform management when stock is getting low.
Tip Reporting:
Adhere to IRS tip compliance protocols by accurately recording daily tips and submitting weekly reports every Monday. What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Preferences)
Availability:
Must have open availability on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). This is our peak party time and the core focus of this position.
Personality:
Outgoing, vibrant, and comfortable speaking to large groups of parents and children.
Speed & Stamina:
Ability to stay on your feet and move quickly during tight 20-to-30-minute party room transitions. Tech/Design Savvy (Preferred): Comfortable using modern point-of-sale hardware. Experience using basic digital design tools like Canva to help create or update event flyers is a major plus!
Reliability:
Trustworthy, punctual, and excellent at communicating guest needs or operational issues directly to management.
