Busser/Hostess

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Busser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to from the moment they arrive. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area, providing support to servers and enhancing the overall guest experience. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent customer service skills. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring timely seating. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and menu options. Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces. Support food service operations by delivering food and beverages as needed. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and restaurant services. Foster positive guest relations through attentive service and effective communication. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. A background in hotel or hospitality settings can be beneficial.
