Duties Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and assist with seating arrangements to ensure smooth flow of service Manage restaurant reservation systems, including booking, modifying, and confirming reservations using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while maintaining proper phone etiquette Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest seating efficiency Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring all reservation records are accurate and up-to-date Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest experience Support food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during guest interactions Skills Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar hospitality role within a restaurant setting Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS systems for efficient operations Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple reservations and guest requests simultaneously Basic math skills for managing waitlists, seating calculations, and billing procedures Understanding of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance Join our team as a Host/Hostess and be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality skills make a real difference!
