Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival with genuine enthusiasm and a positive attitude Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems Tock or SpotOn Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials Maintain clear communication with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating and service Handle guest inquiries via phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Support overall restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness in the host stand area and coordinating with team members to optimize flow Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems such as Tock is a plus Experience in restaurant or hotel guest services highly desirable Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and guest interactions Join us and be part of a team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
