You will be the first person our guests meet, so a welcoming attitude, professional appearance, and strong communication skills are essential. Responsibilities Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Manage reservations, the waitlist, and seating through Yelp Guest Manager/Yelp Tables Follow the server rotation and assign tables fairly Answer phone calls and assist with reservations, hours, and general questions Communicate with servers, bartenders, managers, and kitchen staff Keep the host stand, entrance, menus, and waiting area clean and organized Monitor table availability and help maintain an efficient guest flow Assist with takeout orders and other front-of-house duties during busy periods Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not required Experience with Yelp Guest Manager/Yelp Tables is a plus Must be dependable, punctual, friendly, and comfortable working with the public Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced restaurant Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates are a plus Must be able to stand and move around for extended periods If you are energetic, responsible, and enjoy making guests feel welcome, apply today to join the Taques Bar & Grill team!
