In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist with seating arrangements while maintaining a smooth flow of service in the restaurant. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive at the restaurant. Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to optimize seating arrangements. Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Utilize SpotOn POS system for managing reservations and guest information. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to enhance guest services and overall satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Familiarity with POS systems, especially SpotOn POS, is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
