As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience from the moment they walk in the door.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant with a warm and friendly attitude. Manage the reservation system and ensure guests are seated in a timely manner. Provide guests with accurate wait times and maintain an organized waiting list. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service. Answer the phone and assist with takeout orders, reservations, or general inquiries. Ensure guests are comfortable and attend to any special requests promptly. Uphold Ichiban's high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
