This is a part-time role, 3-4 shifts per week, weekdays. Weekends as needed. You're done by 3PM! This schedule would be a great fit for a stay at home parent looking to fill their day while the kids are in school. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist to optimize seating arrangements Maintain clear communication with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to coordinate table availability and guest needs Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about menu offerings or specials Clear and reset tables promptly, adhering to food safety standards and cleanliness protocols Assist servers during busy periods by delivering food and beverages as needed, supporting smooth service flow Manage phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about reservations or wait times using phone etiquette best practices Assist with cleaning tasks as directed Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Basic math skills for handling wait times & seating counts Organizational skills to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in food service settings Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy makes a difference!
