Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help create a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing top-notch guest services in a lively hospitality setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently to minimize wait times. Handle restaurant reservation management using various table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Escort guests to their tables, ensuring smooth seating arrangements and proper table assignments. Manage guest inquiries via phone communication with professionalism and friendly phone etiquette. Maintain organized restaurant flow by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating capacity. Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness in the host/hostess area and adhering to hygiene protocols. Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and courteously. Skills Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating, and guest flow effectively. Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with clear and friendly interaction. Proficiency with restaurant table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of restaurant safety practices and basic food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
