Mount Olympus Rips Location:
Plymouth, Minnesota | 100%
On-Site Schedule:

$50.00/hour + Tips Want to Stand Out? Show Us What You're Made Of. Email Tom Lecy directly at tom@ontimetalent.com with your resume and a little about your experience in the sports card hobby. Even better? Send us a video resume. Grab a pack of cards, turn on your camera, and rip it like you're live on Whatnot. No studio needed. No editing. No production. Your phone is perfect. Give us 60 to 90 seconds . Talk about the product. Talk players. Call out the chases. Build anticipation. React to the hits. Most importantly, show us what makes people want to watch YOU. Send your video and resume directly to: Tom Lecy tom@ontimetalent.com You Built a Stream With Whatever You Had. Imagine What You Could Do With More. Maybe your first setup was a folding table, a phone mount and a stack of cards. Maybe you started with five people watching. Then ten. Then someone came back for another stream. You learned which products moved. You figured out how to fill breaks. You learned how to talk while sorting teams, watching bids, answering chat and ripping packs at the same time. Nobody taught you how to become a breaker. You figured it out. That's exactly the person we want to meet. Mount Olympus Rips is looking for experienced sports card breakers and serious hobby experts who are ready to take what they've already built and see what they can do with a larger operation behind them. You've Already Proven You Can Do More With Less. Running your own stream teaches you things you don't learn by watching someone else break. You know what it's like when the room is quiet. You know how to bring it back. You know what it's like when a break isn't filling. You know how to sell it. You know what it's like when you hit something massive. You know how to make the moment matter. And you've probably learned how to simultaneously watch chat, track buyers, talk sports, open product and keep everyone entertained. That's not just card knowledge. That's a skill. And we'll pay you $50 an hour + tips for it. Now Let's See What You Can Do With a Bigger Stage. At Mount Olympus Rips, you won't be limited by whatever product you can personally afford to put on tonight's stream. You'll work from our on-site breaking operation in Plymouth with a team and infrastructure built around live sports card breaking. Your focus is the part that can't be automated or packed into a shipping box: You. Your personality. Your hobby knowledge. Your ability to sell. Your ability to turn strangers in a Whatnot room into regulars who show up because they know you're breaking tonight.
You'll:
Host high-energy live sports card breaks on Whatnot Run PYTs, team breaks, cases, hobby boxes, repacks, and personals Keep auctions and breaks moving without making the room feel rushed Talk intelligently about players, rookies, prospects, products and upcoming releases Understand what collectors are chasing and why they're chasing it Recognize returning buyers and learn their teams, players and collections Make a huge pull feel like a huge pull Create energy even when the monster hit hasn't shown up yet Educate newer collectors without losing experienced hobbyists Help build an audience that comes back specifically to watch you We're Looking for the Person Behind the Handle. Maybe you have 50,000 followers. Maybe you have 500. We're not hiring your follower count. We're hiring the person who figured out how to get those first 500. If you've been breaking on Whatnot, TikTok, Fanatics Live, Instagram, YouTube or another platform , we want to see what you've built. If you've been doing everything yourself, that's even more interesting. Because you understand something most people don't: Going live is easy. Keeping people watching isn't. And Yes, You Need to Really Know Cards. You should be comfortable around Topps, Bowman, Panini, Upper Deck, Fanatics, Prizm, Select, Optic, National Treasures, Flawless, Immaculate, Topps Chrome and Bowman Chrome. If someone asks what they're chasing, you should have an answer. Downtown. Kaboom! Color Blast. Gold Vinyl. Superfractor.
RPA. SSP.
Case Hit. 1st Bowman. Young Guns. 1-of-1. You know why they matter. You understand PSA, SGC, CGC and BGS , and you know how collectors use comps, recent sales, checklists and population reports. You follow releases because nobody has to tell you to. This is your hobby too. Your Next Stream Could Look Very Different. You've already learned how to do this with your own money, your own inventory, your own setup and your own audience. Now imagine walking into a dedicated operation where your job is to take all of that experience and make the room explode. We're not looking for someone to teach from scratch. We're looking for someone who's already been doing it and is thinking: I could do something much bigger with the right setup behind me. If that's you, we want to see it. Grab a pack. Turn on your camera. Give us 60 to 90 seconds like we're already watching your stream. Send your resume or video directly to: Tom Lecy tom@ontimetalent.com You figured out how to build a show on your own. Let's see what happens when you don't have to build it alone.
Pay:
From $50.00 per hour Application Question(s): Want to Get Our Attention? Rip Something. Email Tom Lecy directly at tom@ontimetalent.com with your resume and tell us about your experience in the sports card hobby. Or skip the traditional introduction and show us what you've got. Grab a pack, box, blaster, or something from your collection. Turn on your phone. Pretend you're live. Rip a pack for us. Tell us what you're opening. Talk about the product. Build some anticipation. Call out the players, rookies, parallels, inserts, and potential chases. React to what you pull. It doesn't need professional production. A 60 to 90-second phone video is perfect.
