Position Overview:

As a Host, you'll create the first and last impression of every dining experience. You'll greet members and guests with genuine hospitality, coordinate seating, manage reservations, and help ensure smooth restaurant operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, and working as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome members and guests with professionalism and enthusiasm. Manage reservations and waitlists using the club's reservation system. Coordinate seating to ensure efficient table flow and exceptional service. Answer phones and assist with dining inquiries. Communicate table availability with managers and service staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand. Assist with special events and dining room operations as needed. Handle member requests and concerns professionally while seeking management support when appropriate. Uphold the club's standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency. Knowledge of golf or country club etiquette is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical duties.
