Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and professionalism, establishing a positive first impression. Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest flow. Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow. Maintain organized reservation records using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or similar platforms. Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously and promptly, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices during guest interactions and table management. Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles with strong customer service skills. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems like Aloha POS or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette. Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating efficiently. Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and billing inquiries accurately. Knowledge of food safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff. Experience with POS systems such as POS or Aloha POS is preferred to facilitate smooth transactions when needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and hospitality focus.
