Play and Stay. Stay and Play. About the Role The Food Hall Host helps welcome guests into Picklehall's food hall and supports a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience. This role is ideal for someone friendly, organized, comfortable with technology, and energized by helping guests navigate food vendors, tap cards, and app-based ordering. What You'll Do- Welcome guests and provide a positive, helpful food hall experience.
- Assist guests with tap cards, payment setup, food vendor questions, and tap wall questions.
- Check and verify IDs as required for tap card issuance and applicable food hall processes.
- Help guests understand and troubleshoot app-based ordering systems.
- Support guest adherence to facility policies and food hall expectations.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and inviting food hall environment.
- Assist bussers and food hall staff with cleaning or guest service tasks as needed.
- Document and report incidents, accidents, injuries, or safety concerns. What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years of age.
- Prior restaurant, hospitality, food hall, entertainment, recreation, or customer-facing experience.
- Experience with point-of-sale or app-based ordering systems.
- Friendly, outgoing, and positive approach to guest service.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful completion of a background check, as permitted by law. Preferred Experience
- CPR and AED certification, or willingness to obtain certification within a required timeframe.
- Experience with GoTab or similar food hall/order management technology.
- $16.50 per hour for all hours worked.
