Role:
As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they arrive. Your primary objective is to manage guest seating efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. You will coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to handle reservations, manage waitlists, and address guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute significantly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the establishment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role. Basic proficiency with reservation and seating management systems. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working as a host or in a front-of-house role in a restaurant or similar environment. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population. Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of local dining trends and customer service best practices.

Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and waitlists accurately using the establishment's booking system. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring seating arrangements meet guest preferences and operational needs. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and service flow. Address guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.
