Job Description

Put your skills to work where they matter most — keeping our Police/Fire Building safe, functional, and ready to serve the community. This skilled role covers a variety of trades, from custodial to building and grounds maintenance.
MAKE AN IMPACT
BY... Tackling a wide range of building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry, roofing, welding, and concrete work. Keeping equipment and systems running smoothly with preventive maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mowers, and pumps. Taking pride in facility upkeep through light repairs, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining flooring and public/office spaces. Enhancing outdoor spaces with landscaping, mowing, irrigation maintenance, and seasonal snow removal.
WORK HOURS
Typically, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Hours/days may change as needed for the department.
Who We Are Looking For:
A High school graduate or GED equivalent. At least three (3) years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and/or performing skilled building. Possession or the ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification within 12 months of hire date. Possession or the ability to obtain certification in Bucket Truck, Crane Truck, and Forklift Training within 12 months of hire date. Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as part of the position. Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. The ability to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and physical agility screening. Additional Qualifications - The following skills, experience, and training can help set you apart from other applicants: Technical or vocational training in a relevant field. Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or other relevant trades. Knowledge of building automation systems. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The starting hourly wage is $22.13 per hour and will increase to $23.02 per hour after 6 months of successful probation . Please click HERE for compensation/benefits information.
WORK LOCATION
City of Branson Police Station; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
