401(k) matching Employee discounts Flexible schedule Paid time off 801 Chophouse St. Louis is hiring for a Host ! This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) front of the house (FOH) position working in a team-oriented, high-volume / fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest quality food & drink.
Requirements & Expectations:
Minimum of 2 years host experience in a fast-paced, high-end / fine dining establishment. Must be available to work at least 2 days and up to 4 days, any day of the week, including evenings, weekends & some holidays. •Weekend Availability Required• Knowledge of, and ability to work within, OpenTable and other computer systems. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys interacting with the public while maintaining a strong sense of hospitality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, to multi-task, and to maintain focus/memory of information received. Ability to communicate clearly (in person or via telephone) while demonstrating warmth & professionalism to guests in a busy, fast-paced / high-stress environment. Ability to maintain regular, reliable and predictable attendance. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time Physical ability to lift up to 30lbs Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb and twist
