Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Seat guests promptly and coordinate with servers to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries and waitlist management Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices during guest interactions Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant setting Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly phone communication Knowledge of restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for seating arrangements and billing support when needed Experience with food service operations and understanding of food safety protocols Exceptional guest relations skills, demonstrating hospitality and attentiveness to guest needs Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing top-tier guest services!
