Responsibilities Weekend availability is a must Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer phone inquiries with clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations while maintaining excellent phone etiquette Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Support food safety standards by following proper procedures when handling reservations and guest information Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone Experience managing restaurant reservation systems and POS platforms such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and guest billing procedures Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, highlighting adaptability in high-pressure settings Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through energetic service and genuine hospitality.
