About the
Role:
As a Host or Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our Members and guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of seating in the restaurant. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive atmosphere, addressing inquiries, and providing information about the menu and specials. Additionally, you will collaborate with the waitstaff and management to optimize table turnover and enhance Member satisfaction. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience that encourages Members and guests to return.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a hostess or in a similar role within a restaurant setting. Familiarity with reservation management systems. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience. Provide guests with menus and inform them about daily specials and promotions. Assist in coordinating with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service. Address inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills:
The required skills of communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for creating a welcoming environment and ensuring Members feel valued. Organizational skills will be utilized daily to manage reservations and seating efficiently, contributing to a smooth dining experience.
