Overview Join our dynamic team as a Host/Hostess and become the welcoming face of our vibrant restaurant. In this energetic role, you will create a warm, friendly atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring seamless seating arrangements. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences with enthusiasm and professionalism Handle restaurant reservation management using industry-standard systems such as Open Table. Maintain an organized waitlist and efficiently coordinate table assignments to optimize seating flow Communicate clearly with guests via phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries, providing menus, and ensuring guest comfort throughout their visit Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and adhering to hygiene standards Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy hours Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Strong communication skills, including effective phone communication and customer interaction Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and guest billing support Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe dining environment Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced setting Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
