Overview We are seeking a friendly, energetic Host/Hostess to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. In this vital role, you will manage reservations, greet visitors, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth dining operations. Your excellent communication skills and organizational abilities will help deliver memorable guest experiences while maintaining efficient restaurant flow. Duties Greet guests promptly with enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive Manage restaurant reservations and waitlists using restaurant table management systems Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette and provide accurate reservation information Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area Support the front-of-house team by providing guest services and addressing guest needs efficiently Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with hospitality best practices Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service principles Basic math skills for handling reservations and guest counts Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required Commitment to guest relations, food safety, and maintaining high standards of service Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
