Duties Warmly greet guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, handling reservation requests and questions Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and politely Requirements Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive guest interactions Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
