Job Description

Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of customer service, and the ability to manage reservations effectively. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting guests with reservations and inquiries. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage orders and track guest preferences. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, enhancing overall guest relations. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided if necessary. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members are essential.
