Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage restaurant reservations using various table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring optimal seating flow Escort guests to their tables promptly, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate wait times effectively via phone or in person Handle incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, taking reservations or addressing guest inquiries efficiently Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest flow throughout shifts Uphold food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness of the host station and adhering to health regulations Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred; strong restaurant reservation management skills are a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly over the phone and in person Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Positive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional guest services and building guest relations Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing outstanding guest services!
