Job Description
La Vita Nuova is hiring friendly, attentive hosts to welcome guests and manage the flow of service. We're a neighborhood Italian‑inspired restaurant focused on genuine hospitality and memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Greet guests with a warm, professional presence Manage reservations, walk‑ins, and waitlist Seat guests according to pacing and server rotation Maintain a clean, organized entry and host stand Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries Support the FOH team during busy services What We're Looking For Friendly, confident communication skills Calm, organized approach during high‑volume shifts Reliability, professionalism, and teamwork Ability to multitask while staying attentive to details Experience in full‑service restaurants is a plus Schedule & Pay Lunch and/or dinner shifts available $16/hour starting wage + opportunity for tips Consistent training and opportunities to grow If you enjoy creating great first impressions and thrive in a team‑driven environment, we'd love to talk to you about joining our team!
