Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive first impression Check in guests and manage wait list Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, assist with wait list management and accept take out orders Maintain accurate restaurant table management systems to track seating and wait times Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless guest flow and service delivery Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness in the host area, supporting overall restaurant operations Skills Proven experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and positively Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Toast Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and etiquette Solid organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow efficiently Basic math skills for handling waitlist calculations and table management tasks Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to support guest well-being and satisfaction

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 35.0 per week
