In this role, you'll be the friendly face that helps guests enjoy their favorite meals from the comfort of their homes. Your main focus will be managing take-out orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy, and providing top-notch guest service. Responsibilities Prepare and organize take-out orders with attention to detail and accuracy. Use restaurant table management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders smoothly. Manage phone communication with guests, answering questions and taking orders with friendly phone etiquette. Ensure all food safety standards are followed during order preparation and handling. Maintain organization of the take-out area, keeping it clean and stocked for quick service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly. Provide excellent guest relations by offering helpful information and ensuring customer satisfaction through friendly service. Skills Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, especially in restaurant reservation management or host/hostess roles. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests over the phone and in person. Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Good organizational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy times. Basic math skills for handling payments, order totals, and change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Experience in guest services, hospitality, or restaurant experience is highly desirable to deliver exceptional customer care.
