Full Job Description Overview:
We are currently seeking a Host / Hostess to join our team! We are looking for the Hours of Thursday, Friday, Saturday 4pm-8pm and Sunday 11am-3pm . Join a team who has fun together and enjoys interacting with our caring residents.BENEFITS

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Manager on Duty, the Host/Hostess is responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests. Greeting and seating residents and guests in a professional, courteous manner Supervise the activities of service persons in the dining room to ensure proper service and sanitation procedures are followed Maintains a professional management approach in the training and supervision of staff, and follows established procedures Assists in training of new service employees with proper dining room etiquette Handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards Performs and assists with pouring/providing beverages and other service and bussing functions as necessary Monitors seating flow, dining room services and food availability on an ongoing basis to ensure prompt and courteous dining service Confers with the Manager on duty on any unusual problems or requests Responsible for supervising the closing of the Main Dining Room Oversees and assists with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc. Occasionally acts as supervisor to close the department for the shift Assumes responsibility for self-safety and that of immediate work environment. Attending annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know laws, and fire and safety Other duties as neededQualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person) Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress- preferred Understanding of fine Dining etiquette
