Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness in the host station area Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and fostering positive guest relations Qualifications Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred, along with food service experience Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service proficiency Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and POS transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to remain energetic, friendly, and professional in a fast-paced environment And other duties as assigned Join us in delivering exceptional dining experiences by creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back!
