Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help manage reservations, greet guests with a smile, and ensure smooth seating arrangements—all while maintaining a lively and positive environment. Duties Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive, establishing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating times Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservation details Assist guests with seating arrangements, special requests, and accommodating any accessibility needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station to ensure a welcoming environment at all times Handle guest concerns or complaints politely and effectively, escalating issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles within a restaurant environment Strong communication skills with the ability to engage warmly with diverse guests Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating hospitality and attentiveness at all times Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to manage guest expectations smoothly Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and hospitality standards is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your positive energy makes every guest feel valued!
